Francesco Paolo Lamacchia
Francesco Paolo Lamacchia was born in Italy, in the province of Bari, on August 12, 1976. He studied Construction Engineering in the Polytechnic of Bari, graduating with honor. In 2008 he obtained a Ph.D. in Structural, Seismic and Geotechnical Engineering in the Polytechnic of Milan. He has a decade experience in the University didactics, in high specialization courses both in universities and public/private centers. He published a lot of scientific works on international magazines and conferences. In 2011 he founded the First National Network about the Zero Consumption Buildings in Italy, becoming in 2014 Chairman of the Organization and at the same time Technical National Coordinator of the study and multidisciplinary analysis group. The Network Zero Consumption in Italy has achieved a great success to this day, thanks to the several situations created by the Network, just like the first international school, currently at its third edition, on the design of Zero Consumption Buildings in the hot or temperate climates typical of the Mediterranean Basin and in the subtropical countries.
